10 fish will be tagged and will be the winning catches
Please register your child by Monday, July 13, 2026.
Parents/guardians may register their child on the day of the
Kids Fishing Derby. Pre-registration is no longer available. You can register your child at the Fishing Derby
Kids Fishing Derby Rules.
- Participants must be 14 years or younger as of July 17, 2026.
- Fishing Derby hours are from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm.
- All participants must be registered and checked in prior to fishing.
- Two fish limit per participant.
- Fish must be caught in the designated area of the Fishing Derby.
- Fish must be caught and retrieved by the participants.
- Adults may assist with pole set up, baiting and casting.
- Fish must be caught using a rod and reel.
- No one is allowed in the water at any time.
- Nets are allowed to help bring the fish over the rail.
- No treble hooks.
- Violation of rules will disqualify participants from the Fishing Derby.
